Tina Nematian is an Australian immigration lawyer with over 15 years of experience helping businesses and individuals through the complexities of the migration system.
Her passion for immigration advocacy is deeply personal, born in Australia to refugee parents who fled persecution, Tina grew up immersed in the stories of resilience and transformation that define the migrant experience. This upbringing instilled in her a lifelong mission to open doors for others as they build new lives and contribute meaningfully to Australia's social and economic fabric.
Tina's core purpose is to make migration more accessible, strategic, and empowering, especially for businesses struggling to fill critical roles. She thrives on helping Australian companies, from local SMEs to global corporations, secure the overseas talent they need when the local labour market cannot meet demand. Her unmatched knowledge of employer sponsored migration pathways, combined with her ability to design innovative visa strategies, has made her a trusted advisor for employers seeking to build high performing, diverse teams.

She is admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and is driven by her mission to enhance Australia's cultural richness and global competitiveness through migration.

She is an active pro bono contributor, working with organisations such as Aboriginal Legal Services and Anti Slavery Australia to support vulnerable migrants and survivors of trafficking. Transparency sits at the heart of our practice. Our fixed-fee model means you always know the cost up front, no surprises, just solutions.
- Fixed fees, agreed up front. Before we start any work, we agree the scope and the fee in writing. Government visa application charges are separate, and we tell you what they are before you lodge.
- Plain advice. We explain your options in plain English, including the risks and the deadlines, so you can decide with confidence.
- In person or by video. Meet us at our Sydney or Melbourne office, or by video call from anywhere in Australia.

Where are your offices?
We have two offices: Sydney, at Axis House, 81-83 Campbell Street, Surry Hills, and Melbourne, at Ground Floor, 470 St Kilda Road. Consultations are in person at either office, or by video call for clients anywhere in Australia. See our locations page for details.
Do you charge fixed fees?
Yes. We work on a fixed-fee model, so you know our cost up front with no surprises. The fee is agreed before work begins. Department of Home Affairs visa application charges are separate and change regularly, usually on 1 July each year. Our visa fees guide lists the current charges.
Who will I meet in a consultation?
Consultations are one-on-one with Tina Nematian, our founder and Principal Lawyer, or Ivana Djoneski, our Immigration Practice Lead. Both take appointments in person and by video. You can choose who you see on our booking page.
