As Immigration Practice Leader at One Planet Migration Law, Ivana Djoneski brings more than fifteen years of experience in Australian migration law. Admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2011, she combines rigorous legal analysis with a practical, people-centred approach that consistently delivers clear, confident outcomes for clients.

Ivana’s career began at a global immigration law firm and has since spanned boutique practices, in-house roles and international relocation companies. She has managed end-to-end visa programs for ASX-listed corporates, guided highly skilled professionals—including numerous medical practitioners—through complex sponsorship pathways, and represented individuals in family, skilled, partner and parent visa matters. At Newland Chase she rose to Immigration Manager, leading high-performing teams and refining operational processes to meet demanding corporate mobility needs nationwide.

Ivana excels at bridging cultural and regulatory divides for diverse client communities. Her dual background in law and psychology underpins a calm, empathetic style of advocacy, while her command of policy ensures every strategy is meticulously aligned with current legislation.

She is a graduate of Western Sydney University (LLB/BA Psychology) and holds a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from The College of Law.
