    • Your occupation should be either the nominated one or closely related.

    • The Temporary Skilled Migration Income Threshold (TSMIT) applies.

What's New for 2024-25: This year, the NSW Government has removed the requirement for applicants to reside in NSW while working in a regional area, expanding opportunities for those living outside NSW but working within the state.

    • A Bachelor's, Master's, or a research degree (Masters by Research or PhD) related to your nominated occupation.

    • The study must meet the Australian Study Requirement.

    • Graduation should have occurred within 24 months before applying.

    • A valid skills assessment in the nominated occupation.

    • You must have studied in regional NSW, making you eligible to claim 5 points towards your points test.

TSMIT Concessions and Income Requirements
